I think he means a violent reaction with the chemicals and a maybe a
lot of heat is liberated from the reaction and that could cause burns
on your skin forcing you to abandon the attempt, but like he said,
wear some protective clothes something thick and you should be fine,
you could even cover your face with a scarf during the initial moments
of the reaction.
