I grew up living near to the hospital and you very often saw the same patients walking up and down, harmless enough, but very often sad looking.
I vaighly remember the Patients wondering the streets, the only thing I can remember of the hospital was when it was derilict.
Living near Toll Bar we often saw the patients dressed in odd clothing, mostly on a Sunday heading for Taylor park, they wore slippers held on with an elastic band.
Some horrible rooms in there, one about 8foot square (if that) with one of them windows, made on little glass blocks that you cant see through painted pink too. No wonder they were round the twist.
